Assam rebels KLNLF threaten blockade on NH-39

Diphu,(Assam) Oct 18: Karbi Longri N C Hills Liberation Front (KLNLF) on Sunday, Oct 17 threatened to impose blockade along NH-39 at Karbi Anglong Assam, if its leader who was allegedly abducted by the NSCN (I-M), was not released ‘unharmed’ at the earliest.

KLNLF publicity secretary R Dera told the sources that its leader Augustine Kramsa was abducted from his residence in Purana Bazar Dimapur by 15 to 16 NSCN(I-M) activists on Oct 16.

He appealed to the NSCN (I-M) for the safe release of Augustine . If they fail do so Dera said the outfit would be compelled to call for a blockade along the Assam-Nagaland border.
